The immediate need is for this data to be displayed on the front page of silvermesa.net, a PHP based page with no access of its own to the measure_snow app's data.

The initial approach we're considering is to have a very basic view that returns simply a numeric value of the current day's snow fall, which javascript on the page will fetch and insert into the page for display.

Most views that aggregate SnowFallMeasure properties rightfully cache results. If a new SnowFallMeasure is added, the default cache TIMEOUT must expire before the aggregate views are up-to-date. Since adding a new SnowFallMeasure typically only happens once a day, it's reasonable to give the user a better experience by deleting the cached data when a new SnowFallMeasure is added.

Since the only interface for adding SnowFallMeasures is through the admin app, we should consider deleting the cache keys using Django signals.
