Curious to hear your and @qgroom's ideas on how to make your work easier to cite.

@jhpoelen: Hi, I would like to align the scientificName in my semicolon separated csv file:

@jrhillae noted that name mismatches reported in a name alignment report may have many root causes including but not limited to:

• typo in name
• name not yet included in taxonomy
• name failed to be handled because of software defect

Suggest to include disclaimer in the name alignment report to help emphasize that name alignment results should be considered as review notes by a relatively unsophisticated review robot, instead of expert opinions.

@jrhillae suggested to include in name alignment report a summary of names that were missing from one or more taxonomies.

Currently, unresolved names are listed separately for each taxonomy (NCBI, Catalogue of Life, GBIF backbone).

Desired is to create a summary view that includes the names listed by the number of taxonomies that they appeared in:

@jrhillae noted that the name alignment review notes that say something like:

x out of y were resolved for taxonomy z

then, y should be constant across taxonomies.
