There is something going on where iOS clients (maybe Android as well - have not been able to test) are not able to connect. Somewhere early in the connection process it simply disconnects. I'll be digging into this but wanted to see if you had ideas on what was wrong with it?

I'm having a hard time compile it on Windows10. I've installed both JDK and JRE with the same version, however, I'm unable to compile.
At first, the error message was:

[ERROR] error: Source option 5 is no longer supported. Use 7 or later.
After writing 7 into pom.xml (source7 and target7)

I'm very happy to use this proxy with noVnc but my use case requires me to act as some sort of dynamic proxy. Ideally I would like the client to specify a hostname + port parameters with the socket connection and then websockify to use these parameters instead of a StaticTargetResolver.
To achieve that I've made modifications in WebsockifyProxyHandler but I would like to avoid forking the project and maintain a separate fork.
Would you say this use case could be integrated in Java-Websockify ? Or would you consider opening the code a bit more for extension ?
