What You'll get

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager accustomed to managing medium sized web and
intranet builds, specifically Content Management Systems (Sitecore and Umbraco) and SharePoint.
You will have experience of managing the entire project lifecycle, a good technical understanding and
have come from a development background. This role is client facing and you will have experience of
business analysis and writing functional specifications.

Salary Expectation

• £50k - £60k/Year depending on Experience.

• Day-to-day running of multiple projects for clients through the entire project lifecycle, within
budget and set timescales

What You Need to Be Successful (Skills)

• Ability to manage project discovery phase, liaising with clients and users, facilitating

• Ability to give sufficient input into or facilitate the technical analysis of the project
• Ability to work with Account Managers, keeping them informed of any problems

Must Have

• Graduate calibre, with several years’ experience of project management, including

• Experience of Intranets and websites
• Good communicator, able to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry and environment

Nice to Have

• Project management experience of Microsoft SharePoint projects
• Experience of working within digital agencies
• Experience of working with Microsoft SharePoint and / or Sitecore and / or Umbraco
• Understanding of web technologies, systems and architecture
• Accreditation in, or demonstrable understanding of a recognised project management

Job Description

As an SDET, you navigate our codebase, identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems. You'll have a huge impact on the quality of growing suite of products and services.

Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design and promote proper code quality practice, bug prevention strategies, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts across our products.

Help us bring a groundbreaking new product to market on a modern application stack (Node.js microservices and React applications) built on top of Serverless AWS Lambda and Fargate. You’ll join a team of quality experts within a larger department of fun, fast-moving, hardworking and exceptionally supportive engineers.

You will...

Improve developer and engineering team’s test coverage, release velocity and production health
Work closely with development teams in instrumenting their workflow to build a comprehensive picture of velocity, coverage and quality
Develop modern testing frameworks for a microservice architecture
Be involved in research and implementation of new testing strategies, such as Component and Contract Testing
Act as a consultant to different development teams, show them how to implement new testing strategies
Mainly write in TypeScript (most of the Engineering team writes in TypeScript)
Use BDD to bridge the communication gap between product, business and engineering
Be a para-developer -> help developers ship higher quality products faster

Requirements

Core

2+ years of experience as a developer or SDET
Strong Testing framework development background
Strong debugging and problem solving skills
Experience in UI or API automation
Proficiency in at least 2 software programming languages
Ability to drive for results and independently own testing strategy and delivery
You’re constantly curious about new technology and approaches

Nice to Have

Experience with infrastructure-as-code delivery pipelines (such as Jenkins-pipeline, AWS Code Build or CircleCI)
Experience with React, Node.js or Typescript
Experience with developing testing solutions for Mac, Unix or Linux environments.
Familiar with SQL

What You'll Do (Job Description)

• To prepare detailed scripts for software solutions developed by from functional specifications, user stories or occasionally from the solution itself.
• Ability to envision and document combinations of paths through a software process to ensure scenarios are tested, using the appropriate documentation such as requirements specifications, functional specifications and graphic designs.
• To liaise with the developers/project managers to assist in recreation of issues, and to ensure that all fixes are retested in a timely fashion.
• To analyse issues beyond the surface such that the ‘deeper’ bug is understood and reported in detail to the developer/project manager.
