I'm getting this when trying to install from the new source. Never seen this msg before!

Please upload key to public keyserver

I know you have instructions in the readme to import the key, but it would be soooo much easier if we could simply import a public key from a keyserver. The way I build my system is with scripts and other magic stuff and running those commands in the scripts would be much less striaghtforward than importing from a keyserver.

I doubt I'm the only one for whom this is true...

Rebuild request for ungoogled-chromium

/usr/lib/chromium/chromium: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.68: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

core/icu was updated to 69.1-1 today and the binary currently uses 68. Please rebuild when convenient, thanks!

Please create a seperate group for xorg-*-git packages

I create my system using scripts (as, I suspect, do others) and so, these scripts fail when there is a clash between xorg-server and xorg-server-git etc. because I install the xorg group.

I understand you want the benefit of installing via a group, so please consider creating a new group for the *-git packages.

Please forgive me if I've misunderstood something about this.

pacman -Syu: maximum redirect followed

Getting this sometimes from the repo at opensuse.org

failed retrieving file 'home_justkidding_arch_Arch.db' from download.opensuse.org : Maximum (10) redirects followed

It is usually overcome just by running pacman one or two times again. Guessing this might be some overall issue over att opensuse.org, but I'm completely unfamiliar with their eco-system, so I'm dropping the issue here...

libjsoncpp error - ungoogled-chromium

Latest ungoogled-chromium is looking for older version of libjsoncpp?

error while loading shared libraries: libjsoncpp.so.22: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

According to arch packages, latest libjsoncpp provides libjsoncpp.so.24.

Error when -Syu : maximum file size exceeded

Hi, I'm getting the following errors when trying to upgrade with this repo:

error: failed retrieving file 'ungoogled-chromium-92.0.4515.131-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst' from ftp.gwdg.de : Maximum file size exceeded
error: failed retrieving file 'ungoogled-chromium-92.0.4515.131-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst' from download.opensuse.org : Maximum file size exceeded
warning: failed to retrieve some files
error: failed to commit transaction (download library error)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

I've re-init packey, purged cache, and even tried adding a mirror, nothing seems to work. I read in a thread for a similar issue that it is due to incorrect details in the repo database, so I thought I'd open a ticket.

GPG key appears to have expired on February 26, 2022

I'm running into a blocker with pacman as the repo's gpg appears to have expired.

pacman-key --list-keys [email protected]
gpg: Note: trustdb not writable
pub   rsa2048 2019-12-19 [SC] [expired: 2022-02-26]

uid           [ expired] home:justkidding OBS Project <home:[email protected]>

This seems to be reflected on the public keyserver as well:

Discrepancies between repository information in Arch Wiki and here.

At https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/unofficial_user_repositories#jk-aur, the repository is mentioned as

[jk-aur]
Server = https://repo.vin.ovh/arch/$arch

On this github's README.md, it is mentioned as

[home_justkidding_arch_Arch]
Server = https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/justkidding:/arch/Arch/$arch

The latter functions, for the first host name resolution does not work.

Also, the signing keys are different in both entries.

Can you check and maybe correct the Arch Wiki entry?

Thanks!

New key?

Downloaded one of your packages from OBS and found:

gpg: Signature made Sat 13 Feb 2021 08:45:09 PM MSK
gpg:                using RSA key AA6B2752759F9361
gpg: Can't check signature: No public key

And this is not your key.

gpg --recv-keys AA6B2752759F9361
gpg: keyserver receive failed: No data

I don't know about gpg too much, maybe it's just mistake.

Glibc version mismatch

Hello,

I got following error:

$ chromium
/usr/lib/chromium/chromium: /usr/lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.32' not found (required by /usr/lib/chromium/chromium)

Installed ungoogled-chromium version: ungoogled-chromium-84.0.4147.135-1

Could you lower glibc requirements, please?

Pacman fails with your repository enabled with `error: home_justkidding_arch_Arch: signature from "home:justkidding OBS Project <home:[email protected]>" is invalid`.

Ahoj,

I have enabled your repository [home_justkidding_arch_Arch] as mentioned β†—β€Šhere for some time already, in my /etc/pacman.conf I have

[home_justkidding_arch_Arch]
SigLevel = PackageRequired DatabaseRequired
Server = https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/justkidding:/arch/Arch/$arch

Now it appears that any pacman operation complains and fails with

error: home_justkidding_arch_Arch: signature from "home:justkidding OBS Project <home:[email protected]>" is invalid
error: failed to synchronize all databases (invalid or corrupted database (PGP signature))

I have done a pacman -Syy.
I have done a pacman-key --recv-keys 7627D0F8F60FBA35371A29E1AA6B2752759F9361 and pacman-key --lsign-key 7627D0F8F60FBA35371A29E1AA6B2752759F9361 (with success).
pacman-key --list-keys 7627D0F8F60FBA35371A29E1AA6B2752759F9361 shows

pub   rsa2048 2019-12-19 [SC] [expires: 2024-04-23]

Is your signature file damaged?

Regards!

GPG check failed on some mirrors of ungoogled-chromium

Hey! Thanks for maintaining this repo. I primarily use it for the ungoogled-chromium package.

I recently noticed that the package installation failed with the following error

error: ungoogled-chromium: signature from "home:justkidding OBS Project <home:[email protected]>" is invalid
:: File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ungoogled-chromium-99.0.4844.82-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)).

Some debugging led me to finding out that this repo has multiple mirror servers and the content served by ftp.gwdg.de, specifically this version of ungoogled-chromium is not the same as this ungoogled-chromium built on opensuse build system. Although them being the same version.

On my system, ungoogled-chromium was downloaded from the ftp.gwdg.de mirror, and the package failed the signature check. I'm not sure where I should be raising this issue since I'm sure the mirrors are not under your control. But given the signature checks were failing could be an indication of tampered packages being hosted, I thought I should open a github issue here.

It seems https://mirror.firstyear.id.au/ and https://downloadcontent.opensuse.org are hosting the same package (potentially the correct one) and https://ftp.byfly.by/ and https://ftp.gwdg.de are hosting a different package (failing the GPG check)
