I have merged the stacktrace branch into master. The next step is maybe to get on some Apple developer lists and ask why OS X's included libunwind doesn't work.
from julia.
I get an error on startup now:
./julia -b sysimg.j
LoadError(ASCIIString(Array()),32,MethodError((push),(2,Expr(Symbol(),Array(),Any))))
make: *** [sys.ji] Error 1

Relevant thread on the mailing list.
Standalone libunwind test program works, but can't get julia to show stacktrace.
