Can we add a bot in the game who can play chess with the user? I think it will make the game more attractive and amazing. The user should be able to select the difficulty level of the game.

Great game, works really well. I noticed when playing with some themes the queen is on the wrong side, I. e. d1 instead of e1, and the board is rotated incorrectly since it should be white in the lower right corner.

Good day! In both code that is in this repository and in the codepen, one of the frames on the side of the black always ends on top. When you turn on the borders, so does a group of frames on the white side (the frames whose contents are the column indicating letters). To fix this problem, we should simply add the line

z-index: -1;

at line 102 of the styles.css file, as a property of the selectors

#board: after, #frame: after, #frame: before.

At some point it starts logging "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'classList' of null" and it becomes impossible to complete the turn. Sometimes it shows hideMoves and dropPiece in log:

Description:

The_ last white chess piece on the board does not have the ability to move. There are no points on the board where the chess piece can move. A chess piece can be moved around the board, and it is impossible to place it in any cell. Returning the move back to black, then this problem appears again.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the link: http://codepen.io/juliangarnier/full/BsIih.
2. View topics.
3. Choose the second topic (Stone).
4. Start of the game.
5. Play until one white chess piece (king) remains.
6. Make a move by the king. (The king does not walk).
7. Return one move.
8. Make a move black.
9. And move the white king again.

Actual result:

A chess piece cannot make a move. And starts to fail

Expected result:

Points will appear on the board where you can move the piece. and the King will move so that you can continue to play and finish the game.

Tested on Chrome.

I cant run this code. It does not work perfectly like on codepen. I downloaded this and run.
