Cannot get extension working on macOS

In vscode outout I get this:

2022-11-05 16:13:42.251 [error] Activating extension undefined_publisher.bojler-vscode failed due to an error:
2022-11-05 16:13:42.251 [error] Error: Cannot find module 'bojler'
Require stack:
- /Users/*******/.vscode/extensions/bojler-vscode/extension.js
- /Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/out/vs/loader.js
- /Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/out/bootstrap-amd.js
- /Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/out/bootstrap-fork.js

When I try running npm i from within the extension folder I get the following error:

npm ERR! code ETARGET
npm ERR! notarget No matching version found for vscode@^1.72.2.
npm ERR! notarget In most cases you or one of your dependencies are requesting
npm ERR! notarget a package version that doesn't exist.
