We need to decide on whether we should create-react-app as starter project or invest the time to create our own webpack configuration.

Both choices have its benefits I will try to laydown some of them here:

CRA:
props

• easy setup all-in-one product
• maintained by the community
• good for rapid development and proofs of concepts
  cons
• not extendable but have an escape hatch

Webpack setup:
pros

• greater control
• extendable according to needs
  cons
• needs to be maintained
