Damn, I was hoping it would be enough to report it here.
I'm of the paranoid sort so creating onetime-use accounts on the net is not something I feel comfortable doing.
Should I just close this issue in this case ?

This repo is dead for years. I am the same player as you. I would close this issue, but it is up to you to decide what do you want to do. I simply shared info about correct place to do this. Btw you can use google for authentication there.
