To install the desired software or configure settings, you need to run the provided install.sh script. Follow these steps to execute the script:

1. Clone the application:

   git clone https://github.com/Kemzzy-Dev/intrusionSnort.git

2. Navigate to the Script Directory:

   Open a terminal and change the directory to where the install.sh script is located. Use the cd command:

   cd intrusionSnort

3. Make the Script Executable:

   chmod +x install.sh
   

4. Run the Script:

   ./install.sh
   

5. After installation make the run.sh file an excutable

   chmod +x run.sh
   

6. Run the startup script:

   ./run.sh
   

7. Press OK/Agree to all the dialog box pop up on the screen.

8. Click on the RUN ID'S button, set the number of hours you want to run snort for

9. elect your network interface...(Wlan0 is default)

10. Click on Start Snort to run the intrusion detection script
