Consider supporting Vanilla JS
Ideally the main the functionality of this library should be possible to port to Vanilla JS, or at least in some fashion that will support easy implementations in Vue/React.
Currently both useState (internal value string state) and useImperativeHandle (external API reference) are utilized by the library. It may be possible to abstract these patterns in a way that can be implemented in both Vue/React 🤷
