What is Update Notifier? The Update Notifier is a utility that scans installed plugin and displays a list of updates.

  • Push notifications only visible to System Administrators.

Requirements

Kanboard >= v1.0.42
Kanboard installed at a web server. You can find the download at kanboard.org

Installation

You have the choice between 3 methods:

  1. Install the plugin from the Kanboard plugin manager in one click
  2. Download the zip file and decompress everything under the directory plugins/UpdateNotifier
  3. Clone this repository into the folder plugins/UpdateNotifier

Note: Plugin folder is case-sensitive.

Notify the new plugins

Hi @creecros I thought it would be nice to also notify the new plugins, in a non-invasive way, for example by displaying a colored dot or a specific icon in the header. What do you say?

Latest Plugins Page Displays an Error

When clicking the link added by this extension called 'Latest Plugins" I get the following back:

Internal Error: SQL Error: SQLSTATE[42P01]: Undefined table: 7 ERROR: relation "plugin_dates" does not exist LINE 1: INSERT INTO "plugin_dates" ("name", "date_creation") VALUES ... ^

I don't know if this plugin uses it's own database file, but Kanban's database is postgres for me.

App shows that already installed new Kanboard version is available

Hello,
when I open the main page of my Kanboard docker installation, I am greeted with a huge big green bar at the top saying "New version: Kanboard v1.2.9". But this is simply wrong since I am already running 1.2.9. Is this some kind of a bug?

In the settings under Configuration Kanboard says "Application version: 1.2.9"
