When users enter the website for the very first time, the post status text says that there was no updates for 54 years. Obviously, this is wrong and the reason why is because dateLastUpdated has not been created yet in local storage. An easy fix for this would be to check if any keys named dateLastUpdated exist in local storage before the status text component mounts, and if there are none then create the key and set it to new Date().getTime().

Getting this error on deployment type error: 'searchParams' is possibly 'null'. I plan on getting around this by using non-null assertions (!); may need to do this on other files as well.

Update (7:44 PM): I was right, will have to add non-null assertions anywhere the useSearchParams hook is defined and used.
