I wonder if it's possible to use syntax highlighting of some sort in your notes. I think it would be much easier for you or anyone else reviewing the code to quickly grasp what was going.

What are you using to set apart the code blocks right now? Because I thought that markdown supported syntax highlighting provided that you supplied the language being used. So, like on the line below, I added 3 backticks with the letters js added on ```js and then 3 more backticks at the end of the block
