Tested in Rainmeter v4.2.0.3111 and v4.3.0.3237 with the same result.
Thanks
Hello author, I encountered a little problem when using the Shadow (similar to the external glow of PS) effect, the shadow transition part was cut off (seems to be out of bounds)
the look and feel is very unnatural, I can't solve it no matter how much I try, this problem has bothered me for a long time, I found that other author skins and your skin examples have such a situation, when I tuned to Shadow 10, it will not go out of bounds, but it is too light.
if you are interested in this, please help me, thank you in advance!

Is there a way to use the portable install of imagemagick to avoid forcing the user to install it?
Hello, I had installed the Modular Players Skin from JaxCore, and it suggested I install MagickMeter... But I have found that even after installation... JaxCore is not recognizing MagickMeter being installed
It seems like recent changes to ImageMagick have completely broken this, giving Error 127
(aka can't even load the plugin) in the Rainmeter log.
I have upgraded my ImageMagick version from 7.0.10
to 7.1.1
and the problem above is constant.
The only thing I can say is that MagickMeter.h in this plugin is just a modified ImageMagick/MagickCore/magick-type.h, and all that's been done to that file is fix compile warnings (the same errors appear when trying to build MagickMeter too), so it must mean other structural changes inside Magick++ between 7.0.10
and 7.1.1
have most likely broken this.
I cannot find any pixelation effect, and resample and resize use interpolation so making the image smaller doesn't give me the right result. Is there any way to pixelate an image?
If not, adding a pixelate or nearest neighbor resample effect might be useful in the future.
Hey
I recently got into this (amazing) plugin and I am currently working on a new skin. But now I have a (small) problem:
While using "CornerRadius" in a rectangle meter, I noticed that the edges do not round correctly.
Here is an example image of my problem:
I used the shape meter to create the darker rectangle and the plugin the create the pink rectangle behind. Both shapes use the same values.
Maybe you have a solution to this problem or its just a mistake on my side.
If it helps, heres the code I used:
[MeasureBackground]
Measure=Plugin
Plugin=MagickMeter
Image = Rectangle 0,0,200,200,6 | Color 230,140,240,255
Not really an earth-shattering issue, more so documenting for other to see here that the option for OpenCL/GPU/Hardware acceleration is undocumented.
In the Rainmeter Log, the GPUs you have will be printed and if you have Device=0
, it will enable hardware acceleration support on your primary GPU which makes MagickMeter really really fast (from testing in the past).
