Issues:

1. Non stationary data: cut into pieces? moving window threshold?

I want this to only put out raw data, no preprocessing at all. That could be a second step, esp because that would change.
Right now, due to some misunderstanding of the task, Im not exactly sure what to take out of the AO port vs. the rome data etc.
i.e. what am i returning in the function that isnt useful?
