Back-end incorrectly uses child_process.exec. It should detach the process so that if foobar2000-web-ui is closed Foobr2000 can live on.

User runs foobar2000. No track is playing.
User starts foobar2000-web-ui server.
User navigates to the web-ui
Track information is empty.

Track information is updated when a track starts playing. Maybe the track information section should be hidden if it has no data.

Seems like TCP/IP commands like adjusting volume hit a rate limit after 6 or so subsequent repeats. Investigate and see if the limit is caused by Node or foo_controlserver.

I'm interested whether if I was to implement a shim to run the inner instance of foobar2000 using Wine, if the changes would be accepted into the repo / would be viewed as sane.

Would anyone be able to provide an overview of how does the inter process communication happen between FB2k and the app?

The README is outdated, and I should update it with a new screenshot and description.

Server should notify the user via web UI when Foobar2000 is closed and connection to control server can't be established.

Web UI lets the timer run after disconnecting from the server. Timer should be stopped and resumed after connection has been re-established.

Isn't there any support to view playlist on web interface ?
