p6-os-clipboard's Issues

clipping to the wrong clipboard in Linux

Hi,

The clipboard in Linux is a bit confusing. There are two of them.

The ctrl-c/v clipboard is called the "clipboard" (-selection clipboard) and it is not xclip's default

The "mouse over" and "center click" to paste clipboard is called the "primary" (-selection primary). It is xclip's default.

You are writing and reading from the default (-selection clipboard) which is the "mouse over" clipboard. This is not the expected behavior.

to write to the secondary clipboard (ctrl-c)
echo abc | xclip -selection clipboard

to read from the secondary clipboard (ctr-v)
xclip -selection clipboard -o

to write from the primary clipboard (mouse over)
echo xyz | xclip -selection primary

to read from the primary clipboard (center click)
xclip -selection primary

Please either support both clipboards, which would be awesome, or change over to the "clipboard" clipboard, which is the expect behavior.

Many thanks,
-T
