Incorrect HMAC Results
Are you sure that this actually performs HMAC according to the RFC?
Consider the following in Python
from hashlib import sha1
import hmac
raw = b"POST"
def sign_request(key):
hashed = hmac.new(key, raw, sha1)
return hashed.hexdigest()
sign_request(b"TEST")
Result:
1755471c9cdce6222d4d0dd4fc2886f63b868640
The test for hmac-sha1 is produces very different results. Usage:
./test_hmac_sha1 TEST POST 1755471c9cdce6222d4d0dd4fc2886f63b868640
The hash that the program is calculating is
c43dc7d81c155c7713a3083f35741fe4de7ea2f
This is incorrect.
