When exploring I occasionally come across some strange world gen where huge pillars of dirt and stone, even ore in places, often where a beach might be. Can get pictures if you need them.
ive noticed that water mobs like squid and fishy mobs from mocreacher ...
and aqua creepers form the aquacreeper mod arnt spawning in the colourfull ocean biomes S:
is this a bug or inteded behavour?
and any idea where im able to get a list of biomes with there names so im able to add them to the monsters inside custom mob spawner config to fix this if it is a bug :P
1.10 minecraft some of the required mods arnt 1.11 yet :(
Sometimes when exploring I come across an island that is comprised of two separate biomes, with cut-offs and cliffs in many of them. Occasionally it looks quite good, but mostly it's just a bit jarring.
I could rustle up some images, if you need them.
The "river" biome is causing very visible bright blue patches of ocean all over the place (in the same fashion as ice is spawned in). Seems to happen whenever oceans, rivers and beaches are involved and/or near land/islands.
See screenshot. In this example, the pure blue (non-error area) in the outer edge is ocean, the dark blue in the middle is also ocean, the strange checker-area around the dark blue part is a mix of ocean (dark), river and beach (both light blue) biomes...
Pretty strange.
When loading new worlds, sometimes you spawn in a huge "problem-free" area and have to trave for several minutes before encountering the issue; other times you spawn practically in the middle of it.
I downloaded evil ocean from the dimensions section of curse/twitch with the intention of using world drop to have players fall from a void world into the evil island environment. However while there is an option to not have the Overworld generate as an ocean automatically there is no option to set another dimension ID for the water world.
With the nether, a void world, The beneath, and evil ocean I would then have dimensions for fire, water, earth, and air. :)
