Send user monthly summary emails
At the start of each month, send the user an email with a high-level summary of their spendings.
- Total spent
- Total earned
- Net total, and if they went over/under their budget
Allow user to edit existing transactions
Create page to see list of all transactions for a given month
Sorted by date, most recent first
Allow user to input their reference bank account balance
This would be used to help the user make sure that they have not forgotten to input a transaction. If the balance on Budgie does not equal their real balance, then they forgot to input something. This should be optional!
Add backend endpoint that returns amount spent each day in a given month
Allow transactions to be grouped by categories
Create page to view most recently added transactions
Logged-in user not stored after completing registration
Update database model with TransactionMonth
Add classes:
- TransactionYear (maybe unnecessary)
- TransactionMonth
This will make queries faster since transactions for the relevant month will be associated to the TransactionMonth object, and there are much less of those to search through.
Add testing for backend endpoints/integration testing
Add testing for user model/authentication
Add email field to User
Allow user to delete existing transaction
Add currency field to Transaction
Add default currency field to User
Convert all monetary amounts to cents in the backend
