I think it'd be cool to add this either to default or as a config, so if you right clicked a piece of armor from your inventory it would swap the your currently equipped armor with the one in the slot you right clicked.
If this conflicts with the vanilla controls, maybe a shift click, or something else?

Hi there, I think it is better to add a cool down every time the player swap the armor

When opening the inventory and clicking on any of the present buttons in the current latest release, GUI buttons no longer function

Using LCTRL + M2 inside the inventory container to swap armour with an item inside the hotbar plays the noise for swapping armour but the action is not completed

Mod Version: v1.8-Fabric for 1.19
Fabric Loader Version: 0.14.8

Items with the Curse of Vanishing enchantment do not work with this mod on
For example:
Trident with Impaling 5, Riptide 3, Unbreaking 3 and Mending refuses to work if I try to use the riptide part of the trident.

There should be a check for this mod to see if the cursed item being right-clicked is an armor piece if it doesn't do that already

If you change the Use Item/Place Block control to anything other than right click the mod doesn't work.

Here's a few I encountered;

• Random inability to switch, for no reason at all

• Randomly unable to swap when there's an item in offhand

• Most of the time, it takes two different clicks of the same armor piece to swap it

• Cannot switch with the armor in offhand

Mod not load on fabric 1.18.2. It not apear in the modmenu list and not work in the game

I can fix it by taking off the armor piece and right clicking with the new one after, and it begins to work again, but after flying for awhile again it stops working, PFA a video of this happening.
This also extends #3 because when taking the potatos out of my offhand it also begins working again, BUT ONLY when you click on it twice. Which is super weird.

I tried replicating this bug but couldn't get it to work again. I was playing with my friend and I accidentally pressed F which put a baked potato item on my offhand. After that my game crashed and keep crashing. I fixed it by removing the mod and putting it back in after I removed the item on my offhand. I've attracted a crash report along with this issue.

Create has a backpack called the "Copper Backtank" it has to be placed from time to time to charge, of course this becomes impossible when you can't right click. I'd like to see a change where shift clicking, would not swap the armor, or maybe control.
I know there is a blacklist for this, but it'd be nice it was just fixed, from the mod side.

I merged your mod and another one with same functional.
Some minor improvements and bugfixes for 1.16.1 version of the game.

After that my version of armor-swap can be deleted.

While facing an entity and in interaction range, right-click functions like drawing bows and holding up shields do not activate when clicking.

If the entity has a specific interaction, like name-tagging, riding, flint and steel on a creeper etc, it works normally. Otherwise, it doesn't activate.

Applies to all living entities (likely players too, but untested), doesn't apply to things like dropped items or arrows. It does seem to apply to boats and minecarts, though most of the time the riding function (or furnace menu for furnace minecart, etc.) takes over. Spawner minecarts has this click limitation since it has no innate right-click mechanic, for example.
