Figure out why /buckets fails in a 500 on the server and has no user

Configured the stack using SSR (ssr: true in the Amplify config).

I have authentication working on the template (_app.ts) to force Cognito to provide login controls. This is working.

However, it appears that I cannot get the auth to carry over, even using context (aws-amplify/amplify-hosting#3187 seems relevant here).
