opening the installer says i need 64-bit pc. is there any plan soon about making it available for 32-bit windows?

I have published the git version in AUR so that users can keep up with the latest changes of each commit:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/kawanime-git/

It would be interesting to let each user use the theme they like or favorite characters in the application.

When following the README instructions on installing and running KawAnime, I get the following error in response to running npm run start:

This happens both on the master and 0.2.5 release branch. I don't really know anything about node.js and friends, so I'm sorry in case I have missed something obvious.

what about mobile version ? it's can be good idea :)

I think the ability to have the app auto-started as we login might be a interesting feature to add. Plus, if we could have the ability to choose if it starts up maximised, minimised or directly into the tray might be a nice addition.

I think the ability to minimize to tray is important for this kind of app. I like my taskbar empty and my tray full. :P

By the way, this app is awesome. Keep up the good work.

KawAnime always freeze when it's trying to load the things in "news" section? It always says "retrying in 45 seconds" then freezes again. Is there a way to not auto-load the "new releases" section? It works fine when I remove the WiFi connection.

How to install this in android for dev

Not being able to download any anime through the app, just get a message saying "No internet access. Retrying in 1 minute."

I just started using KawAnime on mac earlier today. I got barraged by download location boxes(47 of them) when using the downloader to download Boku No Hero Academia episodes after I toggled "Get Magnets" just to see what would happen. This caused my laptop to slow down to a crawl. With no way to stop the oncoming download boxes I was forced to shutdown my pc.

Suggestion to put in a dialogue box saying something like "This will initiate X downloads, are you sure"? with confirmation /cancel buttons for downloads with "Get Magnets" toggled off.

i wonder If you can add to KawAnime the option to organize the anime by genre

for example I love anime in romantic and funny genre something in Fate to Klaied Style so It's be easy to find a specific anime instant explore all the software, or if there is as anime that I don't know so I search in the genre I want

I understand that the streaming service is still relatively new and would like to thank you for all the work you've put into the application so far. However, I have occasionally noticed the subtitles being mistimed or straight up missing on during streaming. The downloaded version has subtitles on the other hand. Also the sub fangroup in question is horriblesubs 1080p.

Are there any plans to add streaming instead of just downloading? Whether this be through torrents or through sites like animerush, kissanime, or 9anime.
Also, I haven't really tried this out yet(so not sure if this is a feature)... But is there any way to show missing anime from seasons?

In the section about generating distributable files, specifically for all systems, there is a typo:
npm run build npm run dist:all
Should be:
npm run build && npm run dist:all

would be nice have option to config proxy settings like Firefox:

This is because some users can be using some particular network configuration and would need pass the application through its proxy or not.

also I have an Idea to improve the software , if you know popcorn time , when you watch the movie it's download the movie as mp4 directly to Download folder the movie while you watch the movie , it's can be a nice feature for the software you may look at the code of popcorn time.

If there was a way to synchronize the "Watching", "Completed", etc. list with MAL accounts it would be great! With this feature users with both MAL and KawAnime wouldn't have to update two anime lists which is, in my opinion, very useful.

The AUR install does not seem to list required fonts as dependencies. As such, missing symbols are replaced by empty boxes. Which font do I need to install to fix this?

I think it's a good idea we have multi-language support for interfaces. Now with anime description we can translate it with google why it will be difficult to find a database with descriptions in several languages.

I have seen that many projects are now integrating Telegram as an effective means of communication between users and developers.

If it isn't too much, it would be great if there was an option to enable/disable thumbnails in the watch list page. I just like browsing lists that have pictures :) Also, an option, like in windows 10 file explorer, where you can adjust the thumbnail/icon size.

My plex server requires .srt or hardcoded subtitles, and the .ass subtitles requires transcoding on top of the standard streaming to a client.

There's no field to enter a password, and it doesn't seem to save the username, either.
