If you’re curious about a setting, extension, theme, or font that you may see me using, you can find all sorts of information on my workspace configuration here.
Visual Studio Code is my code editor of choice. My Code workspace settings can be found in settings.json. I currently use Ayu Mirage as my editor color and icon theme. I use Fira Code as my editor font, with ligatures enabled. I may often disable ligatures while recording to avoid confusion.

iTerm2 and zsh is my terminal application of choice. My iTerm2 configuration can be found in zsh-profile.json and .zshrc. I’m a big fan of aliases, which can be found .alias. I currently use the OceanicMaterial color theme with Fira Code as my terminal font.
I use a 2017 15-inch MacBook Pro with the macOS Catalina operating system. I plug my machine into a CalDigit USB-C Docking Station and two Dell Ultra HD 4K P2715Q monitors. I use the Rain Design mStand to keep all of this organized and tidy. I hit keys on the Apple Magic Keyboard and can’t live without my Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum Mouse, which rests on a sizable Blade Hawks Mouse Pad.
When recording, I use the Blue Yeti USB Microphone wrapped in a Kaotica Eyeball FatBoy on a suspension scissor arm in conjunction with the awesome ScreenFlow recording app. Encoding, hosting, streaming, and all the fancy things that go into hosting video online is handled by the good folks over at Vimeo so that I don’t have to.
