Would it be possible to add additional arguments so that the app can be controlled from the commandline? I'd like to use your app in combination with ranger (a commandline file manager).

For example open -a /Applications/imageviewer5.app "path-to-file.heic" opens the image in the app but if the application has not been launched the window is very tiny.

PS: thank you for making this, the HEIC display is really fast!

replace Image() in ContentView with AsyncImage(), should help with big images maybe?

I recently switched to an m1 macbook, xee can't view some pictures, I found imageviewer5 on Google, and imageviewer5 can open pictures very fast, this app can't zoom in and zoom out pictures, it seems When viewing the next picture in full screen, the screen size cannot be correctly recognized, and the size of the previous picture will be delayed.
(My English is not very good, I hope you can understand, thank you very much for making this app, I saw that the latest version was released last year, and I hope to keep updating. This is a good app)

I like your little viewer. It's better than the builtin Quickview because I can browse through the images without selecting them all and hit key combinations.
But I personally don't like the background color "white" very much :-). Could you please add an opportunity to change it?

Another option I frequently used with Irfanview was resizing an image. Would be nice to have that functionality here too, maybe under a Tools menu or something.

I use the native Image and NSImage functions so I'm surprised this doesn't already work.

Some users may not care about what index the image has in the folder or what resolution it is.

Big Sur wants circle-square icons (squircle).

This should probably be a option though, because some users (like myself) want the image to be as large as possible
