DynaFlow element package

Flow ID

The Flow ID is an annotation of a packet. Currently the Flow ID is 64 Bit long and starts at an offset of 40 Byte of the annotation.

Build

  1. run autoconf

  2. run ./configure

  3. run make

  4. run make install as root

Elements

DF_SetFlowID

This element sets the Flow ID of a packet according the parameter FLOW_ID.

Ports

DF_SetFlowID have one agnostic input and one agnostic output.

Usage

Example 1. DF_SetFlowID usage: sets the Flow ID to 1
DF_SetFlowID(FLOW_ID 1)

DF_Counter

This element havhave for each Flow ID one Counter. One Counter counts packets and bytes. If a Flow ID is unknow it will create a new Counter for this Flow ID.

DF_SetFlowID have one agnostic input and one agnostic output.

Usage

Example 2. DF_Counter usage
DF_Counter

Handlers

byte_count_all: Returns the Byte Counters for each knowing Flow ID

pkt_count_all: Returns the Packet Counters for each knowing Flow ID

reset_all: Resets all Counters
