results from running Sample_2Event.hepmc in CheckMATE
Evaluating Results
Test: Calculation of r = signal/(95%CL limit on signal)
Result: Allowed
Result for r: 0
Analysis: cms_sus_13_016
SR: SR1
Run Checkmate over larger sample of events.
Run atlas_2003_11956

Set up CERN Accounts and log into lxplus
Run Checkmate over 2-event sample
Run checkmate over 2 event sample -- bonus points if the analysis is DV+mu.
Make first acceptance vs lifetime plot
For the samples mentioned here:
let's make a plot of the final signal acceptance for the MET region as a function of the neutralino lifetime. That is to say, in that screenshot, we look at line 25 and read off the value 0.01 from the Acc column. We want that number for the 1 TeV, 200 GeV mass point (for stop and chi0 masses respectively) as a function of the lifetime to see how it changes.

Bug: Only looking at PDGID 13 and not -13
Hi @taylorsussmane -- @kdipetri pointed out a little bug in the code where we're asking for a pdgid 13 and not -13. Can we add an abs
around the PDGID?

Calculate Truth MET and cut
Using the main document: https://atlas.web.cern.ch/Atlas/GROUPS/PHYSICS/PAPERS/SUSY-2018-33/hepdata_info.pdf
Calculate the "magnitude of the transverse component of the vector sum of the momenta of all muons and stable weakly-interacting particles in the final state."
Calculate it for each event, and make a histogram of the values and post here.
Then we're going to throw away events that have truth met < 100 GeV.
Implement cross-section scaling
The dummy cross section we've been using is 1 fb (femtobarn). We'll instead need this to be the cross section of the processes as defined here:

(There are also JSON files available)

Implement Acceptance Calculations
@taylorsussmane will implement calculations of acceptance definitions (page 1 of https://atlas.web.cern.ch/Atlas/GROUPS/PHYSICS/PAPERS/SUSY-2018-33/hepdata_info.pdf)
Aiming for end of this week.
