Set up Git tracking in the project directory and make sure to add and commit changes as I make them.

Now that we have a working program, go back to it and see what we can improve.

• Can we add some functions to make the code more byte-sized?
• Can we add a class & object somewhere?

Create a new GitHub repository for the project blackjack and add a Python file inside.

To add a split feature for the player in the Blackjack game, we need to make several modifications.

1. The split option is available if the player's initial two cards have the same rank.
2. When a player splits, they will create two separate hands, each starting with one of the original cards, and continue playing each hand independently.

• Make sure two cards have the same rank
• Create two separate hands
• Play each hand independently

This is the bulk portion of the project.

Start with creating the variables and then text prompts to let the user understand the program.
