Visual Kopasu

Visko (Visual-kopasu) is a web-based software suite for Computational Linguistic Analysis based on deep parsing with construction grammars and ontologies (HPSG, SBCG, xMRS, Wordnet, texttaglib).

Install

Visko is a Django site. To run Visko locally, please download a pre-packaged visko_site.tar.gz from the official Visko release page and follow the instructions in the documentation.

Changes to be made

SESSION_COOKIE_HTTPONLY to True
DEBUG to False
Disable admin URLs (it's not needed for now)
Use a separate server for serving static contents
Consider using HTTPS

Optimise TTL display for long sentences

It's a bit slow when loading long sentences. Long sentences should also be wrapped to make it easier to read.

Initialize a readthedocs page

Deploy to https://visko.readthedocs.io/

Release an archive of visko_site 0.2.3 that is ready to run

Update Django to version 3.2

Django 3.2 LTS is supported until 2024 (See section Supported Versions at https://www.djangoproject.com/download/)

Make sure that visko-0.2.3 is compatible with coolisf-0.2.3
