cloud_sample_docker-compose_project's Issues

2.1 As a user I want to add a photo to my profile page so that I can share a visual with my network for better interaction

Size: 8
Given a user wants to add a photo, when the user clicks on the add photo button, the user should be prompted asking for permission to access the library
Given the user is presented with the permission popup, when the user clicks allow, the user should be able to see images in the library to choose from
Given the user is presented with the permission popup, when the user clicks deny, the user should be redirected back to the profile page

Instructions for setting up issues for sprint tracking

INITIAL SETUP

Step 1: Create a milestone for each sprint named: Sprint 1, Sprint 2, Sprint 3, Sprint 4, and Sprint 5.

Step 2: For every user story create a issue where:

  • the title is the epic id followed by the user story itself
    • For example:
      1.1 As a ___ I want to ___ so that I can ___
  • the description has the relative size followed by the acceptance criteria
    • For example:
      Size: 5
      Acceptance criteria 1
      Acceptance criteria 2
      Acceptance criteria ...

PLANNING

Step 3: Once all the milestones (sprints) and issues (user stories) are added, then you can go into an issue and assign it to a specific milestone (sprint) and add assignees (team member(s) assigned to the user story). all of these options are on the sidebar of the issue as you can see to the right.

DEVELOPMENT

Step 4: perform development on the issue on a new branch, when finished push your branch up and create a pull request.

Step 5: then go to your issue and link the pull request you made to the issue on the right sidebar.

Step 6: if you have other people working on the issue, have them push up their branch when they are done and create a pull request, then make sure they add the pull request to the issue as well.

Step 7: once ALL development for a issue has been completed and the respective pull requests have been linked to the issue, all the pull requests for that issue can be merged into the master/main branch (by going to the pull request from the pull request tab) and then issue can be closed.

Planning and development will repeat for all the user stories (issues) that are completed.
