This seems reasonable. I'm not sure what exactly the message that is failing represents; it may be something new since this code was written.

It could be adblock working on my chrome that is blocking some requests. I will do a few tests with adblock enabled and disabled and see what happens. Regardless, I guess we should check for this condition as a potential corner case.

Confirmed. Adblock potentially blocks some calls, causing chrome to send these "data:text/html,chromewebdata" messages.
I will change the print to log.info and pull the change.
