Describe the bug
when attempting to use the clone stamp tool, even when holding down ALT and selecting the source area, as soon as you click on another area to paint the source the error above appears

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. create a new document, single layer, and paint a random swirl or anything anywhere.
2. select the Clone Stamp tool. Hold down Alt (note the Cursor icon changes as it should) and click on the area you painted
3. release alt so cursor returns to normal, and click in a new area of the screen. it SHOULD now paint in what was in the source area you clicked on when Alt was held down.
4. See error

Expected behavior
it should paint in the cloned area of the image

3.get nothing
4.after a short period of time softlocks the pc (in my case virtualmachine)

This is a fresh install from arch titus script i just installed wine and winetricks.
i use GTX 1060 8 GB
and i have a intel CPU

found out i was using wine staging will try the aur wine-stable package soon.

1. Go to '.Camera RAW'
2. Click on 'Play with some settings'
3. After a while it greys out. But when I alt-tab back and forth it comes back for a couple of seconds
4. See error

Expected behavior
Of course I expect to be able and just use camera raw. It doesn't matter if I use a 8 or 16 bit image

It works perfectly. What about importing Illustrator in the same way. It would be very cool.

Describe the bug
The view does not refresh after undoing changes. You have to move/zoom for it to actually refresh and show the undone changes

I create an issue to my own repo.

It's a known bug and I'm working on it. it's caused by CC process that closes a long time after.

In the meantime just wait for a fix (I have some in mind)

Finished the installation, all files are there on the directories, there is a .desktop file too. But photoshop doesnt open when clicked on .desktop file. Tried manually launching photoshop from launcher.sh file from terminal, but same result. Then tried launching the photoshop.exe file with wine, and failed.

I just installed this but there's no info on how to use it.
I tried "wine photoshop" and it gave this:

Describe the bug
When clicking on the x on the GUI, the procress isn't ended. And when the process is running, you can't start a new instance of Ps. So when you launch photoshop with its .desktop entry and then close, you can't start it again without manually killing the process

Describe the bug
After install, if you try to open any menu item like File, Edit, etc. The menu will open properly but photoshop will hang. I also experience a certain degree of side effects on the rest of my computer until I force kill photoshop through the terminal.

I recently switched from fedora where this problem did not occur. My photoshop installation on fedora was about 5 months ago so it's possible this bug is recent.

Because the allredist wasn't downloaded or extracted (the known issue ).
Nevertheless, I still ran it (manually) and got a MSVCP140 error, so I downloaded vcredist_x64.exe from the MS website and installed it and every thing worked very nicely and smoothly except for the plugins.
All the filters with standalone windows (except Liquify) and the save for web (legacy), become grayed out when I move my cursor over any of the options. e.g.

As for Liquify, when I click on it, I get the following error:

After getting these errors, I downloaded the allredist file manually and ran those commands, but that didn't make any difference.
I'm using Manjaro, with Wine version 7.4. This is an optimus laptop with a NVIDIA and INTEL GPU.

I was really happy to finally find a smoothly working version of PS 21 on wine, so I hope to resolve this problem as soon as possible.

Hi @MiMillieuh. I'm happy to see I'm not the only one trying to get Photoshop running as good as on Windows. With CC 2021, I did it, but almost with 2022. In my case I have:

• CC 2022 running with GPU acceleration since couple of months (but I'm facing sync bug).
• CC 2021 running perfectly without any sync issue and full GPU acceleration (but with max Nvidia 470 drivers, after that (510, etc) my photoshop crashes.

I noticed that in your video, you don't have a proper GPU acceleration even if in preferences the "GPU acceleration" checkbox is checked. (you can check that in the font of the splash screen, yours are transparent, mine are in proper grey) or with the "srubby zoom" (top icon is greyed) that is not working.

In my videos I made a scrubbly zoom demo to show you. Also, not all CC 2021 are compatible as adobe has a bug. You must use CC 2021 22.1.1. Right after, with version 2021 22.5.2, I'm facing the same issur as reposrted abose with 2022 (Sync issue).

Hi, I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 + Wine 7.11 Staging + PS 2021. Everything works except main app menu (File, Edit, Image, etc). App simply crashes when I'm trying to open every menu item while shortcuts opening same items are working fine.

Preferences > Interface > Appearance > Color Theme

Clicking on any colored box preset crashes photoshop

Otherwise it seem to be working on Manjaro linux.

Hi there. I ran the script, but it failed to download AdobePhotoshop2021.tar.xz from Mediafire.

Executed installer.sh, ask for Windows 10, installed successfully, but nothing is installed.
All terminal messages are errors.

not sure if typo or if other distros use this format(i run manjaro linux) but the Photoshop installer script next to the bin folder in the header its a "!#/bin/sh" instead of the regular "#!/bin/sh the hash and exclamation point was swapped. switching it back fixed it (or just directly running the executable in the folder instead.

Hey i noticed you're developing a GUI for this installer (great job btw), it would be amazing if you could ship that installer as a Flatpak app (maybe post it on Flathub) that way you could target every linux distro and create a separate wine installation, instead of using the wine version provided by the distro.

Describe the bug
This script works great, however it seems pen pressure is not recognized by Photoshop. When enabling the option, it shows a warning icon saying "Control by pen pressure requires the use of a pressure sensitive tablet". I'm using an XP-PEN Deco01V2 tablet, with OpenTabletDriver, and have checked that pressure works in other apps such as Krita.

To Reproduce

1. Plug in a drawing tablet and ensure pressure is working (using OpenTabletDriver, for example)
2. Launch Photoshop installed with this script
3. Open the Brush Settings window, and change the Control setting for Shape Dynamics to Pen Pressure.
4. Observe the warning icon, and that brushes do not react to pen pressure.

Expected behavior
Ability to use pen pressure in Photoshop.

The installation script for CC2021 worked, but I don't have GPU acceleration.
When I look at the logs, at the end of the installation I have this error:

allredist/setup_vkd3d_proton.sh: 78: Bad substitution

So I tried to re-download allredist.tar.gz, extract it, and manually launch it, but same error.
Do you know how to fix that ?

I just can't get it to work. In use Ubuntu 22.04. I get an unrecoverable error occurred. Maybe it is becasue I use 6.0 ? but how to upgrade to 6.1?
