slide-android's Issues

Crashing on Android 7.1.1_r4

Hi,

I have a Nexus 5X. It is currently running the Pure Nexus AOSP custom ROM, based on Android 7.1.1. I'm able to connect it to a PC, but if I interact with the app after touching, the app will crash. I'm willing to provide logs if needed and possible.

Device: bullhead
ROM: Pure Nexus, December build, rooted
Side version: Slide Free 2.52

S Pen SDK

S Pen SDK crashes the app on the Note 5, it also does not detect the 64 bit installation of the SDK.

Could not connect over LAN.

When trying to connect the desktop app flashes the error "Could not connect over LAN. Please disable any interfering software and try again."

Tested with both an Amazon Fire HD 10 (2017) and a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (both at newest OS version).
Tested with java versions openjdk 11 and oracle java 8
PC OS is Debian Testing

Not sure if this is still in development or not.

no pressure support on Galaxy Note 10.1

Thanks for Slide! :)

I was wondering if I'm missing something โ€” the Galaxy Note 10.1 isn't listed on the markers-for-android wiki as having pressure sensitivity issues (it's not the same device as the Galaxy Tab 10.1), but I can't see any pressure information reported; xinput test 4 just gives me e.g.

$ xinput test 4
button press 1
motion a[0]=2488 a[1]=659
motion a[0]=2491 a[1]=659
motion a[0]=2494 a[1]=662
motion a[0]=2494 a[1]=665
motion a[0]=2497 a[1]=668
motion a[0]=2507 a[1]=677
motion a[0]=2517 a[1]=686

I bought the full version of Slide, S Pen support is enabled, and the pressure sensitivity seems to be working fine on the tablet itself e.g. in Papyrus.
