Quick Install

Install Latest Version

Install the latest version from the releases page

From source on crates.io:

$ cargo install nu

Install via Package Manager

With Homebrew:

$ brew install nushell

With winget:

$ winget install nushell

With Chocolatey:

$ choco install nushell

For Windows users, you may also need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributables.

Start the shell

$ nu
