Is it possible to anything other than artists, like genres or albums or playlists?

Hi, I'm excited about this project, thanks for creating it.

The list of songs shows up perfectly fine. I'm encountering the following error when I try to change the song by pressing Return:

E484: Can't open file /tmp/veMqQFE/30

The folder /tmp/veMqQFE is owned by my user. I'm using Debian 8, Vim 7.4, mpd 0.19.1-1.1 and mpc 0.26-1. The mpd process is launched by my user.

So i keep getting mpd connection error. I don't know what's wrong yet.

In my computer i have aliased mpc="mpc --port 6602 --host 127.0.0.1".
Could this cause the connection issues?

I checked your plugin file (not familiar with .viml) but i could see there was no connection attempts ( like port/host specifications, again i don't know how viml works).

I'm also using pathogen so i didn't include

 let g:ctrlp_extensions = ['buffertag', 'tag', 'line', 'dir', 'tmux', 'mpc'] " <- This line
