The characters column should take up less space to make room for other columns

The cleaner should only remove temporary folders that were created by cwg.

This happens if user enters 当. The problem is likely caused by the underlying data set. However, cwg should handle this situation in a better way. E.g. showing a warning that the radical cannot be generated (and will be empty/user defined).

This is caused by using glob.glob() calls. They should be replaced by listdir()

This is a wonderful generator.
Please change the color of the "Stroke order" to red or make it customizable. Currently it's hard to differentiate with black and white.

It should include the input characters as well.

Actual result: Error: Could not find data for character .
Expected result: Error: Could not find data for character: . or Error: Could not find data for character "."

Example input: "你好<U+200B>汽車" // renders as "你好汽車"
Current result: "Could not find data for character <U+200B>" // renders as "Could not find data for character "
Expected result: "<U+200B>" is ignored and the sheet is generated normally

Gray characters on squares would be great for young kids to trace - take your time working on this.

This happend on 'words' branch.

For users who need to use a printer that doesn't support color nor print in levels of gray, the current generator is unusable. We could add an option to generate the sheet in pure black color - in a way that the gray stroke order is omitted. This would make it usable.

It is not necessarily obvious that the user has to press an Enter. It could be good to add some hint.

Is it possible to add the option to have gray characters on every square of the worksheet?. Having gray characters to trace helps young kids memorize - the first character is already gray.

The chinese worksheet generator you have developed is great, as a French person, I'd be very much interested in having the same tool with French translations. Is it possible to implement a French version thanks to CFDICT, the french dataset ?

It should be possible to split characters into words and generate a definition next to them.

It would be helpful to allow the user to set the number of characters that are allowed on each page.

I would have to try if the Chinese font can handle English alphabet as well.

This concers user defined character definition and (not necessarily user defined) word definition.
