Maybe we could create a global object on the page that librato client could pick up whenever it was loaded? So in the head you could do something like:

  <script>
    window._LibratoClient = {
      timing: {
        'window.onload': +new Date()
      }
    };
  </script>
</head>

Then later on if you wanted to time something before librato client was loaded you could do:

window._LibratoClient.timing.foo = +new Date();

Then at the bottom of the document when Librato client is new'd it will submit any measurements in the _LibratoClient object.
