Show a preview of the webpage and explain how each button works.

Would love a simpler and more mobile friendly simply HTTP page to have as the default.

Note that emphasis needs to be on using as little memory as possible as memory is constrained on the ESP8266. The current default uses w3.css framework that is loaded on the client computer so it doesn't need to be stored on the local memory of the chip. Something similar should be used if possible.

Possibly add ability to wire up a push button to manually trigger shutdown or power on

Allow an option for integration with Alexa devices by emulating a WeMo device.
