I try many solutions to Instaler OpenMemories: AppStore but nothing works for me. Otherwise OpenMemories: Tweak works correctly with installation of PMCA-GUI-v 0.16-win. EXE under win 10.

Recently discovered your work - great! Tried it on A7Rii, pcma-gui v0.17 installed from Windows 10 computer, downloaded through Internet Explorer. OpenMemories app installed and responsive on A7Rii, enables WiFi, however none of the applications will install - OpenMemories hangs on error.

App incompatible with firmware version 4.0 or other problem? No software or coding experience, just a photographer who would love to have focus bracketing on his A7Rii!

Back with a smile. Succeeded in installing the Bracketing App directly from the computer - just pointing to the apk and asking to install was enough. Time lapse still questionable, it downloads but no install confirmation. Maybe too impatient. Anyhow, I'm happy!

Edit 2: Time Lapse instaaled too. The only thing it took was getting used to the OpenMemories interface. marvelous job!

Add support for paying for apps.

Free is awesome and great, but in order to get more apps and higher quality apps it would be a good idea to incorporate functions for paying for apps. That authors would be able to get something in return for lost time should boost the incentive to create and improve apps.

From a technical standpoint it would probably be more simple to handle all transactions via peoples computers rather then on the cameras themselves since that interface is just too clunky to deal with any text input.

Something like this

1. User logs in
2. User click 'buy' on an item
3. User 'checks out' -> Payment module (card, paypal etc)
4. if(ok) Generate temporary code for app
5. User logs in on its camera (same db/credentials as the non-camera appstore)
6. User enters code for the recently bought app within the OM Appstore
7. Validate Code + Credentials
8. if( ok ) app downloads, else error

A plethora of open source solutions is available for e-Commerce that could be used as a base.

Hey,
I just want to ask, if it is possible to add an app which allows us to use the Slog picture profile.
I have a Sony Alpha 7 which has no Slog profile installed, I think, that it would be useful to integrate Slog.

I was hoping we could work together

This is an idea for a very useful app running on android which allows focus control of fly by wire lenses through the smartphone. The UI works by turning a virtual knob with the finger. But we can go a step further and a simple accessory in the shape of a wheel could attach to the smartphone with a small suction cup and rotate the digital knob. The idea is to emulate a remote follow focus, very useful for working with focus pullers, working with a remote monitor, and specially for gimbal work. The app could also toggle between focus and zooming. Take a look at the attached image.

I can help with the design and manufacture of this accessory. Looking for programmers who want to help out developing this.
I have no programming skills at all, just the idea, any help i can give let me know.

I receive the message "Error: Server Error The server encountered an error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds". and have tried using multiple browsers such as chrome & safari on multiple MAC computers and still cant gain access.

So i know this is far from your job let alone anything else I have to say. I appreciate the people working on these hacks. But is there a way to add clean HDMI out for the Sony a5000? I know all newer models have this has a prebuilt in function. But is there a way to add it?
