python-libmaas does not support moving vlans about python-libmaas HOT 3 CLOSED

Can you please provide a snippet of how you were trying to move the vlan and the errors you got?

Sure, this code produces this error:
vlan.fabric = fabric
vlan.save()
AttributeError: fabric_id is read-only
And there is no mechanism to push a vlan onto fabric.vlans (also read-only).

Ideally I would like to do something like this (since it makes sense to me to modify the fabric through the fabric, and not the vlan):
fabric = client.fabrics.get('some fabric i am configuring')
for vlan in [v for f in session.fabrics.list() for v in f.vlans]: fabric.vlans.append(vlan)

Under the covers libmaas should remove it from its current fabric and add it to the fabric I am configuring.
