Presenter Mode

Build status

A one-click button for entering presentation mode which resets fonts, themes, tool windows and resizes Visual Studio itself. Great for video recordings and screen captures.

Download this extension from the Marketplace or get the CI build.

Optimizes Visual Studio for video recordings, screen captures and screen sharing with a single click.

Presenter Mode command

It does that by:

  1. Resetting font sizes
  2. Zooms the editor
  3. Applies the Blue theme
  4. Resizes Visual Studio itself

This is all configurable, but defaults to settings that are optimized for screen recordings.

What about exit presenter mode?

Going to presentation mode is great but it would be nice if there was an option to exit and go back to your original settings.

Maximizing the Window

Add an option to have the VS window maximized instead of setting a size. I will sometimes share and display from my 1440p monitor and sometimes from my 4K monitor. As it stands, I would have to set the size for one or the other. Plus if your taskbar is set to stay up, setting it to the full size of the screen makes it where the bottom status bar of VS is hidden.
