vswebessentials.com's Issues

Cloned repo, Using VS 2013, cannot build

I cloned the repo using Github for Windows. Opened .sln in vs 2013 Pro. Build error:
Validating Web Site
: Build (web): The pre-application start initialization method Start on type System.Web.WebPages.Deployment.PreApplicationStartCode threw an exception with the following error message: Could not determine which version of ASP.NET Web Pages to use. In order to use this site, specify a version in the site’s web.config file. For more information, see the following article on the Microsoft support site: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=254126.

Packages config indicates no dependencies on web pages, etc. But clearly need various packages for Razor to function.

What am I missing?

Request: syntax highlighting for Rmds

As part of the RTVS extension, VS is now able to edit R scripts and RMarkdown documents. It would be great if we could get syntax highlighting for Rmds for web essentials to render.

I have a good feeling that the RTVS team would be able to provide colors/syntax details to help with the rendering.

Overall goal is to get Markdown Editor to play better with Rmds :)

Thanks!

Markdown Editor broken in VS2012 with v3.1

(Sorry if this is the wrong forum for reporting bugs - the link on vswebessentials.com is broken)

I just installed v3.1 of the extension for Visual Studio 2012. The Markdown editor appears to be broken now. Mouse clicks in the edit area and typing almost any text has no apparent effect. Hitting "enter" does add newlines, and the arrows keys work as expected.

Thanks for developing the plugin in the first place - it's quite useful!

JSCS: The disallowLeftStickedOperators rule is no longer supported
