Introduction

  • The Finite element formulation of following equation that represent the deflection of beam has been solved. The following Plate has been used.

  • Boundary Condition can be changed in various type due to the flexibility of the MATLAB written program. But in this particular project Cantilevered Beam was used and at the end the strees and strain was calculated. Also, it should be noticed that the triangled element were used.

  • Force should enter in MPa unit.

  • At the end the shape of deflected plate was obtained as below while every node had its own strain and stress. In the feature below strain in any location has been shown.
