Simple Express app to serve Cox Solution Finder project in the showroom.

Update static, public files:

./script/update-public.sh dev

Sync records:

./script/sync.rb dev

NUC Configurations

Update Date/time & setup NTP

yum install -y ntp ntpdate

Set timezone to UTC

timedatectl set-timezone UTC

Add these servers to the /etc/ntp.conf:

server time.nist.gov
server nist1-macon.macon.ga.us

Update time & hardware clock:

ntpdate time.nist.gov
hwclock --systohc

Start ntpdate:

systemctl enable ntpdate.service
systemctl start ntpdate.service

Firewall rules

firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=http

firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=dhcp

WiFi driver from backports

The Intel Wireless 7265 interface requires the backported iwlwifi driver from 3.14.22-1. The following packages are also requried:

yum install -y kernel-devel iw iwl7265-firmware autogen-libopts pciutils lshw

To install the backported drivers:

cd /usr/local/src
wget http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/backports/stable/v3.14.22/backports-3.14.22-1.tar.xz
tar -xJvf backports-3.14.22-1.tar.xz
rm -f backports-3.14.22-1.tar.xz
cd backports-3.14.22-1
make defconfig-iwlwifi
make -j3
make install

SELinux

Disable it... /etc/selinux/config set SELINUX=disabled
