When trying to add my AC unit as an accessory, I restart the Homebridge server and get the following error in the logs.

My unit is functional with the AC Freedom app.

Homebridge appears to turn on/off or control temperature but AC does not respond. AC freedom works without issues. the IP and MAC address are correct. the same configuration used to work via homebridge previously and haven't done anything besides regular updates of the app and homebridge. Using latest verision 2.2.3. Could you lead me where to look for the issue? thanks a lot!

Перестало работать управление питанием (Active).
Стояла старая версия плагина и все работало.
После обновления - кондиционер перестал включаться/выключаться. Хотя параметр "Active" меняется.
Остальное управление работает.

Hi, I’m newbie on all this homebridge stuff, I was wondering if you could help me to get to work this plugin with my AC, I tried others and they just don’t get installed, and for some reason yours gets installed amazingly, so what I don’t understand is how my json file needs to be so I can have full control of my ac, I just have what I found on your readme file, but that’s it, so I’m looking for some guidance with this plugin, I honestly haven’t done anything like this in the past, and I would love to get some help. Hi a have 2 York AC units with the wifi module integrated that works with ac freedom app.

I have two routers the one that the ISP provides and a newer more secure one that only supports WPA2 PSK AES network security, the broadlink module does not connect to it, so i have to connect these devices to the ISP ssid wifi.

All my other stuff is in my other network (hoobs, appleTV, homepods, etc).

I can reach/control one ac with homekit using the plug-in putting the public ip address on it and putting on DMZ mode one AC unit on the ISP router

So i need to know whats ports do i need to open to stop DMZ and open the ports on both units so i can controll both of them.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hey, I have an AUX J-SMART air conditioner with software version v52020. After configuring the add-on, it doesn't work in HomeKit; it doesn't show the temperature, and I can't turn it on.

Is there any way to configure this?

In my country it is not customary to control the temperature with decimals, the remote control increases and reduces the temperature in whole numbers

Hi to all, maybe its not the right place to ask but maybe you have a suggestion.
I am using homebridge-broadlink-heater-cooler under IObroker , I have a Vortex AC whos using AC Freedom app. I can only control only few functions of the AC (on/off, clean, mildew, display, sleep, health) but I can`t set the temp , fan , or mode . Any advice is welcomed. Thanks in advance.

The plugin works fine for a couple of hours. Although after 4-6 hours the plugin is unable to communicate with the mini split unit unless hombridge is restarted. Would be great if there is a way to enable verbose login on this plugin to see what's going. If there is a hidden way please share... I couldn't find a way to enable logging on the README file.

First of all thank you for writing this plugin. I installed it and it worked by showing one AC in Home app but since i have multiple AC units showing in AC Freedom app, i wonder how do i get them all to show up in Home app? Can you please guide?

Проблема появилась при переходе на последнюю версию.
Параметры CurrentHeater-CoolerState и TargetHeater-CoolerState раньше не имели дефисов.
Проблема с дефисом возникает при использовании Homebridge в связке с Node-RED.
Если в Node-RED использовать функцию, в которой принимается данный параметр, например:
var y = msg.payload.CurrentHeater-CoolerState;
то происходит ошибка при исполнении, дефис воспринимается как перенос строки.
Можно использовать костыль в виде предварительного дублирования содержимого msg.payload.CurrentHeater-CoolerState например в msg.payload.CurrentHeaterCoolerState и уже новый объект использовать в своей функции. Но это лишние вычислительные затраты при регулярном опросе статуса.

Если можно, хотелось бы вернуться к наименованию параметров без использования символов. Или использование именно таких наименований продиктовано политикой HomeKit?

Describe Your Problem:
I'm trying to set up a Rinnai AC (model no. HINRT50B, firmware v52020). I've tried connecting it to the AC freedom app and that works fine, but am having trouble getting the plugin to work.
IP and MAC have been entered correctly. I can ping to the AC and it has a static IP. When I try to configure the plugin the device gets added to homebridge but doesnt do anything when controlled. Nothing is shown in the logs when controlling the device either. When homebridge first runs it shows "Initializing AirCondionerAccessory accessory..." in the log but nothing after that.
Ive tried setting it up without the AC Freedom app, only using it to connect to wifi, then cancelling without actually adding the device, but I still get no response. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

I can see the AUX in Homebridge, i can change setpoint value with node red, can activate it. But the AC itself does nothing.
Perhaps the firmware of the WIFI?

• what is the maximum version of firmware that still works with this great plugin?
• is it possible to downgrade firmware to this version?

doesn't work with homebridge only with alexa for over a year. Does somebody has any idea?

Whenever I open the details page for my AC by long pressing in the home app it triggers the AC and randomly changes a setting e.g. turn oscillation off/on. Another issue is that if I change the fan speed it enables oscillation. I am guessing the method for getting state is broken. Any help would be appreciated.

when receive payload with ambient temp > 32
can not parse value

The ambient temperature (current room temperature) is always shown as 22C. Since the AC Freedom app can get the ambient temperature, I am sure there must be a way for this plugin to get the ambient temperature. I can see some references in the code to
tempNow but it doesn’t seem to be used anywhere. Can you investigate?

I am looking for a working homebridge plugin for a broadlink device. Would you mind updating the readme to mention what this plugin does (and doesn't). Thanks

After updating to version 1.0.3 it shows the current temperature, but still has erroneous behaviors, sometimes it does not show the correct temperature, showing more than what AC Fredom shows or even showing 0 for a few moments, for now it does not seem to resolve #3

Also when entering to see the device controls it changes the modes and a confirmation beep is heard from the equipment, apparently it is related to this #4 , But I can't put it in heat mode at 21 degrees for example, it automatically switches to "going down to 19" and cold mode is activated

Plugin has been working fine for a while now... from time to time I had to restart homebridge but in general all good.

Today I've noticed that Homebridge was unable to control the mini split. I can control the mini split just fine using the AC Freemdom app but no through homebridge. I've checked that the IP address has not change. restarted homebridge, restarted the router, even power-cycled the mini split but no love... Since there is way to enable debug logs I'm unable to see what is going on...

Is there anyone else having this issue?
