                           To forgive is to cease to blame someone or something. To grant pardon for a mistake. To free someone from penalty. To free from the obligation of a dept. Christianity is all about needing forgiveness, wanting forgiveness, seeking forgiveness, finding that forgiveness in Jesus Christ and peace found through forgiveness. The relationship with God given us through the forgiveness made possible by Jesus Christ blood.                              Exercising forgivenesss recognizes two things:1 The fallen nature of humanity     2-The redeeming work of Jesus Christ on the cross.                                   The word of God teaches us that when God forgave us , He forgive us completely(psalms 103:12 it says ;As far as the east is from the west, so far as he removed our transgressions from us)   We should also learn to forgive others who have offended us(Ephesians 4:32 it says; Be kind and compassionate to one another , forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave us).               We learn forgiveness through Christ Jesus: Matthew 6:12 which says ;And forgive us our depts, as we forgave our deptors. Christ taught that we should be in a position to forgive others so as to  be able also to be forgiven our depts/sins also. So if we don't forgive others even us we won't be forgiven . There is no limit to the forgiveness we should show to others (Matthew 18:21-22  in this reading peter asked , Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother and sister who sins against me? Up to seven times? ' and Jesus said seventy-seven times .)An understanding of God forgiveness should make us more willing to forgive others. When Stephen was being stoned to death, we find him praying to the heavenly father that the sin they have committed should not be counted to them and emediately he saw an open heaven. Many christians fail to experience an open heaven simplify because of there sins and failure to seek forgiveness from God and the people you have wronged and refusing to forgive. We should be ready to forgive, ask for forgiveness so as to experience the power of God in our lives. Others live in bondage of curses , simply because they don't admit there mistakes in order to be forgiven. Another key factor is that , it is not necessary to wait someone to beg or ask for forgiveness, we should be willing to forgive despite the situation. Genesis 45:1-7 is teaching us that , some bad things that happen to us, they happen for our own good, so we should not blame others we should forgive them . Joseph counted it a joy in Egypt to welcome his brothers who sold him as a slave in Egypt. John 3:16 tells us that God give his only son to die on the cross so as to pay for our sins , so if we are forgiven we should also forgive . In Matthew 18:23-35 a rich man forgive his deptor but the deptor was too hard to forgive his deptor. This made the king furious and ordered the poor man  be thrown into prison. The same way our heavenly king will be furious to throw some of us to eternal fire .
