USB driver not working on Windows 10

Good afternoon. Tried installing windows 10 on our tablet, was surprised to find that it runs much faster than 11 windows, but there are a couple of drawbacks. Apart from the camera not working, which I have no complaints about, USB doesn't work. To be more precise, it works for charging, but devices connected via it are not visible. It has an error sign in the task manager. There is also one unrecognized device and a couple of uninstalled TPM drivers that I don't really care about. Is it possible to do something with USB and that unrecognized device?

[QUESTION] - Fastest core is locked to 800Mhz

Hello map220v,

I observed that the fastest core of my MiPad 5 is only running at 800Mhz which should be to 2960Mhz. I attached screenshots of CPU-Z and TaskManager, which show that one core clocking really slow, even though I am running Cinebench to put load on all cores.
Since the other cores show the right frequency and I can see that they are dynamically changing, I think that the 800Mhz are not a reading error of the software. Furthermore CPU-Z shows that the one fast core should have a frequency of 2420Mhz like the other 3 fast cores which suggests that there is at least something wrong.

Is the frequency a value which is controlled by the drivers in this project? I didnt find any obvious code which is called cpu-freq or similar. There is also a similar report in the Installation manual by erdilS.

Best regards

[Question] Light sensor driver

Recently I found some mismatch between documents in different languages at this repo, which claimed the light sensor works in Italian, Turkish and Chinese, but not others.

So I dig down to figure which side is correct, and I found this discussion, It points out "it used to work when map220v used the surface sensor drivers but now he used the generic qcom ones".

Which I believe refers to this two Commits:

Please correct me if I'm wrong but is there a reason for using the QCOM version of sensor driver instead of Surface Duo one, or just a mistake for replace the driver?

Multi touch screen interference

When touching different zones of the screen quickly, the operation will be seen as a single touch point moving, causing the mistouch. Due to this problem, it's hard to use the zoom gesture.

Battery percentage inconsistencies

I am experiencing inconsistent behaviour of the battery state in Windows.
Here is what I have observed:
Rapid draining: The battery seemingly drains very fast when using Windows, however, upon rebooting and plugging in the charger, the battery level seemingly "jumps" to the correct percentage.
After disconnecting the charger, one of the two things will happen:

  • The charge level gets stuck on the level it was at the moment the charger was disconnected
  • The battery seemingly starts draining very quickly, as I have explained above.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Use the tablet with windows. Observe that battery is draining quite quickly.
  • Reboot the tablet, using Windows's start menu
  • after rebooting and logging in, plug in the charger
  • observe that the battery level jumps by a significant amount as soon as the charger is plugged in
  • disconnect the charger
  • observe that the battery level is either stuck, or starts draining quickly like before

Expected behaviour:

  • The battery level stays consistent with the real battery level

Additional note:

I am quite sure that this is a bug in one of the battery drivers reporting the battery level incorrectly, as when I reboot to Android when Windows shows about 10% battery left, Android still reports more than 70%.
