When I was using apache, I did something like this

@acalcutt Thank you so much! I've been trying to solve this problem for days and adding the following lines in the Apache config file solved the problem for me!
SSLProxyEngine on
SSLProxyCheckPeerCN off
SSLProxyCheckPeerName off
...
RequestHeader set X-Forwarded-Proto "https"
RequestHeader set X-Forwarded-Port "443"
